Custer State Park abounds with wildlife and while we were there we saw everything from white tail and mule deer, pronghorn, big horn sheep, marmots, wild burros to buffalo. It’s similar to Yellowstone in its abundance of wildlife but without the geysers.

Hmmm… so where are the burro-photos?
The only picture of the burros is the banner or top photo of the post.
I have such wonderful memories of my trip to Custer State Park. I’m glad you have enjoyed your stay there.
Many thanks to you and Clay for telling us about it. It’s a beautiful area.
